I love capturing the moments in between the posed shots, when the model’s guard is down, and their authentic self shines through.
Recently, while photographing my daughter, she turned to laugh at something her boyfriend said, just out of frame. In that instant, I saw her genuine joy, and so that's when I pressed the shutter release.
While not completely in focus, it's more full of life and love than anything I could have directed.
I truly love getting the shot between the shots. DTP
